Since yoga mats by Society6 are quickly getting increasingly popular, I thought I would write a quick post about what I think of them (I now have 3 of them).
From the size to the quality of the materials, everything you need to know about Society6’s yoga mats is right here!
Looks great! I got this as a gift for my partner, and it’s also better quality than my own yoga mat (thicker and longer). Now I want one too!Emma B. on Jul. 09, 2019, Bought “Koi in Black Water” by Amanda Laurel Atkins
Are Society6 Yoga Mats Any Good?
Quality of Materials
I really don’t have any complaints when it comes to the material of Society6’s yoga mats.
These yoga mats are lightweight, comfortable, durable, and they don’t slip like some of my other yoga mats.
And I also enjoy the thickness of the mat (1/4 inches thick). They’re easy to roll up and carry around.
I really like the texture of these mats as well. To get a better idea of what these yoga mats look like, check out the video below.
Beautiful and practical! The most beautiful mat I have found, also, very sticky, great grip for my down dog, perfect thickness and size, and truly unique! Best mat I’ve ever owned!Emma B. on Jul. 09, 2019, Bought the trending yoga mat “WITHIN THE TIDES – BALLERINA BLUSH” on Society6 by Monika Strigel
Quality of Print
With most of the items I’ve ever bought from Society6 throughout the years, I found that the details of the design were sharp, and the colors were vibrant.
But, sometimes customers will complain that the print is blurry or pixelated. This is usually due to the artist uploading a low-quality image.
However, if you do get an item that is not to your liking, no problem! Just let Society6’s customer service know about your issue.
I’ve dealt with Society6’s customer service before, and I can tell you (from my experience) that they’ll do anything to make their customers happy.
Absolutely beautiful!Laura R. on Sept. 23, 2019, Bought the trending yoga mat “Indigo Mountains” on Society6 by SpaceFrogDesigns
I received a beautiful, well-made and perfectly printed yoga mat… The imagery is so beautiful. It is a joy to have and use this mat. I know I’ll be ordering again with confidence. Fast delivery, great tracking, all-around terrific transaction.
The standard yoga mat size is around 24 inches in width and 68 inches in length.
Society6’s yoga mats are two inches longer (70 inches) than the standard size. However, if you’re tall (over 5’8″), you might want to consider buying a longer yoga mat (Amazon).
Overall, I had no problem with the size of the mat (I’m 4’11”. This is why I’m thinking of buying this yoga mat on Society6). So no complaints there!
Warning: No Carrying Bag Included
I just want to warn you that these yoga mats don’t come with a carrying bag. However, they do come with a 1.5-inch carrying strap.
If you prefer to carry your yoga mat in a bag (like I do), then you can check to see if Society6 has a matching tote bag.
Since I use my yoga mats quite a bit, and I want to make sure the colors of the designs stay vibrant, I prefer to wash my yoga mats in the tub with warm water and a mild detergent (Amazon).
Just don’t put too much detergent! You only want to use a little because you don’t want to make your mat slippery once it’s dry.
Then, I just let the yoga mat to air dry can take a day or more, depending on the weather.
If you don’t have time to clean your yoga mat in the tub, then you can also use a yoga mat cleaner (Amazon).
Conclusion: Society6 Yoga Mat Review
Would I recommend these yoga mats to my friends and family?
The only thing to remember is that the design can be a hit or miss with these yoga mats since it’s the artists’ responsibility to upload high-quality images for the items on Society6.
Absolutely what I wanted.
