Most of us want to protect our phones while being stylish. There’s nothing worse than dropping your phone and cracking the screen!
So that’s why I wrote this post. After reading 148 customer reviews[RES] about Redbubble’s soft case, I summarized what they thought about the quality of the printed designs, fit, and protection.

Print Quality
Reviewers said that the print quality of the design on the soft cases was excellent, and I totally agree. The colors are vibrant and the designs are sharp.
Compared to Redbubble’s other phone cases, the big difference with the soft case is that it’s flexible, has a frosty look, and has an anti-fingerprint finish.

Another thing to notice about the soft case is that, even though reviewers said the quality of the print was great overall, the artwork is printed ON the surface of the soft case. This means that the print is not part of the case’s actual material. (Redbubble’s snap cases and tough cases have the artwork embedded directly into the cases’ material.)
But after 2 years of having my soft case, the printed artwork still looks amazing! So far so good!

Another thing to note is that the artwork is printed on the front of the case, but not on the sides. The sides are left semi-transparent.
After having had the hard case with the same design, I wanted to try the soft case. Still love the design and love the case. The only thing better about the hard case is that the design on it curves around the edges and just looks nicer. Fit
The case is made of a thin, flexible material that fits snugly all around the edges of the phone. The buttons are covered with the case, but you still have full access to ports.

Customers said that the case is easy to slip on and off the phone. This case might be a great alternative to the tough case if you don’t drop your phone often and you really want to change the style of your phone case regularly (and easily).

Protection & Product Quality
The reviewers mentioned that the soft case is very durable, flexible, and smooth to the touch.
These cases are made from TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) and, in my opinion, are more durable than the silicone cases you find in most stores.
The design of the case is tasteful and subtle. The material and workmanship is of good quality. The fact that the case ends a bit higher above the display gives the cell phone particularly good protection. I would recommend the product. – Barbara on Feb 1, 2021 [RES]

But, even though the soft case can absorb the impact of a fall better than the snap case, I personally think that the tough case is still the clear winner when it comes to protection.
Quick Tip: Even though a phone can still break while in a soft case, it’s less likely than if it didn’t have any protection at all. Adding a screen protector (Amazon) can really help reduce the risk of breaking or scratching your phone even more!
Conclusion: Are Soft Shell Cases Good?
So, are Redbubble’s soft cases as good as online reviewers claim they are?
Yes! They’re not only good. They’re GREAT!
My friends and I have ordered so many items from Redbubble for 14 years, including their soft cases.
My personal rating of Redbubble’s soft cases is 4.5 out of 5 stars. I only took out the 0.5 stars because even though I love that the soft cases are so easy to put on and off, I still prefer the tough cases when it comes to protecting my phone (I’m super clumsy and I drop my phone all the time).
It’s worth noting that, while reading all of the customer reviews[RES], I noticed that a lot of people said they had the same Redbubble soft case for years, and when they got a new phone, they bought another soft case from Redbubble. To me, that’s proof enough that people love and trust these cases.

And, worse comes to worst, if your soft case doesn’t fit right or you’re just not impressed with the quality or design, it’s easy (and free) to return a Redbubble soft case.
I ordered my first case and it arrived but did not fit my phone, original description was not correct. Reached out to customer service and was very happy with how they took care of me.
