Graduating from Cardiff School of Art & Design with a BA in Illustration in 2012, Ed Fairburn has been making waves online and in exhibitions.
His imaginative drawings on maps and other pre-patterned surfaces have caught my eye and the eye of many.
Using pen and ink on reproduced maps, he seems to be focus on women’s facial expressions. This, along with his subtle color palette, makes his artwork both simple and mesmerizing.
